Julia and her family landed in America in August of 2018, and a week later she joined the Shelden Architecture team as an Intern Architect. When someone asked her “What one thing surprises you most about living in America?” she replied very honestly, “Everything.”
Julia received her master’s degree in architecture from the New Bulgarian University in 2013 and began her professional architectural career at Proarch in Sofia, Bulgaria. She’s gained valuable experience on projects like shopping centers, residential buildings, office buildings and resorts while also developing her interior design skills. Not only is she versatile, creative and ambitious, but she also speaks three languages: Bulgarian, English and German.
Julia, her husband, and their son are making a home and life together in Wichita, exploring all that America has to offer.
