LYONS FEDERAL BANK

The site for Lyons Federal Savings is at the same intersection as the Lyons County Courthouse. Having outgrown their current location and wanting to contribute to the small town feel of downtown Lyons, the client requested a new, larger, but still traditionally styled bank. Knowing that the materials
would be stone and brick, decisions made in the design of the building were intended to show off the extensive brick detailing and arched windows. A large tower entry not only helps define the corner of the street,
but also gives a sense of permanence to
the site. The care and attention to detail is also found inside the building on custom made teller counters and a grand staircase.
